Our Superstar

Poppy, our resident mini pig superstar! Mini pigs have surged in popularity over the past few years, and Poppy is no exception. While “mini pig” isn’t a specific breed, it’s a term used to describe any smaller breed of pig that has been selectively bred to be smaller in size.

Poppy has been with us for about a year now, and she’s become quite the little character. She came to us from a family who could no longer keep her, but we’re so glad she found her way to us. Poppy is a true sweetheart who loves nothing more than getting lots of love and attention from her human friends. And you know what her absolute favorite thing is? Having her tummy rubbed! When she’s lying on her side with her little legs in the air, she’s just about the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

Now, I won’t lie – Poppy can be a bit of a handful sometimes. She has a bit of a biting problem, but we’re working closely with her to make sure she understands that biting isn’t okay. We’ve seen progress over the past year, and we’re confident that with time and patience, she’ll learn to be the best-behaved mini pig in town.

But despite her biting, everyone loves visiting with Poppy. She’s become something of a celebrity around here, and we can’t blame them. Who can resist those adorable little snorts and oinks? Of course, we do have to remind people not to pet her just yet, but we’re confident that with time, Poppy will become the perfect pet.

All in all, we’re just so glad to have Poppy as a part of our family. She’s brought so much joy and laughter to the farm, and we’re excited to watch her grow and develop into the best version of herself.
